I Painted My Piano!

I know, it sounds crazy. But if you know me well enough, then it isn't all too crazy. My piano is a Hamilton, maker of Baldwins. Anyway, it was an oak wood, with many dings acquired from my little boys, and it was ugly.

Well, I saw a neat picture in a magazine of simply a shabby looking hall table, and that's when I decided to take on the "shabby" look in my house.

My piano took only one coat of paint, and I just spent $8 for the gallon from Lowe's. It was a can someone had chosen, but didn't end up buying. Lucky for me--it is my pride and joy--next to my boys, of course!
