It's kind of funny. We attended a Halloween party at a library, and went to a ward trunk-or-treat. So by the time the 31st finally came, our boys had dressed up and consumed more than enough candy to suffice for the holiday, and they didn't trick-or-treat that night. We put them to bed early, and then Josiah wanted to pass out the candy at the door. So we let him, and he had quite a marvelous time. And just for the record, those Kit Kats are better than I had remembered. I only ate a dozen or so.
